York Castle Museum

At York’s marvellous Castle Museum your students will be wowed with artefacts, exhibitions and interactive instalments covering history both near and far. Groups can stroll down ‘Kirkgate’ the museum’s Victorian street and get a feel for shopping and leisure in Victorian York, complete with a visit to the iconic Terry’s of York, the humble beginnings of the company who would give us the Chocolate Orange in 1932!
