Memling Museum
Once home to a Medieval hospital the 800-year-old grounds of the former St John’s Hospital now house the Memling Museum, and exhibitions dedicated to the former hospital and pharmacy. The building itself is listed as one of the oldest remaining hospitals in Europe and was transformed into a museum celebrating the work of the 15th century artist Hans Memling. As well as housing numerous works by Memling, the former hospital infirmary and pharmacy can be visited, offering a look into historic medicine.
