Mont Saint Michel, a UNESCO world heritage site is a remarkable medieval walled city, crowned by its great gothic abbey, is built on a small granite outcrop standing in the middle of the bay. Meander in the small alleyways, walk up the Grande Rue and along the ramparts, visit the abbey, the museums and the Archeoscope where you can learn about the construction of this fabulous monument and its sacred history.
