Polizeiliches Durchgangslager Amersfoort, or Kamp Amersfoot as it is more widely known, was a Nazi concentration camp in Amersfoort in the Netherlands. Between the years of 1941 to 1945, over 35,000 prisoners were kept here. After the war, the leader of the camp, Joseph Kotälla, was sentenced to death, but died in prison.
