The Hungarian National Gallery is nestled in several wings of the UNESCO World Heritage site of Buda Castle and as well as offering a stunning collection of fine arts offers equally breath-taking views over the River Danube, promising to be an inspirational venue for all students. The collection which was established in 1957 has been presenting and displaying the very best in Hungarian and international art works dating from the 10th century, through the Medieval period until the present day. Offering a staggering collection of 6,000 paintings, over 2000 sculptures, 3000 medals, 11,00 drawings and 5000 prints this visit promises to deliver inspiration to any student who visits its halls.
