Show all photos

The Galicia Jewish Museum, located in Kraków’s former Jewish district of Kazimierz, offers a guided visit designed to help students explore Jewish history and heritage in the region. Through photography, artefacts, and personal stories, the museum presents Jewish life in Galicia before, during, and after the Holocaust.

Students will gain a deeper understanding of Jewish culture, identity, and traditions, as well as the impact of the Holocaust on local communities. The museum’s exhibitions encourage reflection on memory, loss, and the importance of cultural preservation.

There may also an opportunity to meet a Holocaust survivor or their relative.

Organised through the Galicja Jewish Museum in Krakow, it may be possible for your group to meet an Auschwitz Survivor or a relative and hear the horrendous conditions of Auschwitz first-hand. This meeting will last approximately 1.5hrs.
