Choco-Story Museum

Take your students to a ‘world of pure imagination’ with an exploration of the sweet treat we all love, and one of Belgium’s most famous exports; chocolate! This experience is a chocoholics’s paradise and a unique look into one of Belgium’s oldest industries. As the name implies this museum will take you on a journey through the story of chocolate, starting with its roots in Mayan and Aztec cultures, through to its current place in the hearts and bellies of the world! The museum also features an exhibition detailing the unlikely health benefits of everyone’s favourite treat and live demonstrations of the chocolate making process. All this excitement sits within a historic building with an interesting story all of its own, from roots as a wine tavern a pie bakery and even a furniture workshop.
