At Arromanches you can see the remnants of “Port Winston” and the artificial Mulberry Harbour which functioned as a port during the Normandy invasion. The Musée du Debarquement brilliantly illustrates how the harbour was conceived, built, transported and assembled. Arromanches 360 cinema also presents a short film of the allied invasion on 9 screens in a circular room placing you in the middle of the action.
