Bespoke School Trips to

Iceland

If you are looking for your next geography trip, why not consider Iceland, the Land of Fire and Ice on a bespoke study trip with Adaptable Travel

Located on the mid-Atlantic ridge at the meeting point of the Eurasian and North American plates, Iceland provides a window into divergent plate tectonics and it’s associated geological processes and landforms. Also, its northern position and geography means that 11% of the land is covered by glaciers lending to the study of glacial processes and landforms along with case studies of eruption-induced glacial flooding. Iceland is a geography teachers dream open air classroom. There has never been a better time to visit this mysterious, yet beautiful and enticing country, with great travel links from the UK, Iceland is now more accessible to school groups than ever before. When planning your next geography trip with Adaptable, you will work closely with our resident geography expert Julie Webb (BSc Hons Geography), to develop your perfect geography itinerary.
