ARRIVAL DAY On arrival at Naples airport, meet your coach then why not add on a visit to Naples en route from the airport. You can visit the Naples Underground Cisterns, and then meet your guide and undertake a guided tour of Naples. Continue transfer to your hotel in Sorrento and evening meal.

VESUVIUS & POMPEII Today’s visit will focus on the destructive power of Mount Vesuvius, as you visit Mount Vesuvius. Classed as potentially one of the most dangerous active volcanos, students will learn about its formation and eruption history. Your trip will be compounded by a visit to Pompeii to uncover the effects of the eruption in 79AD. Evening meal in the hotel.

AMALFI DRIVE With your own private coach with a guide drive along the Amalfi coastal road above the Tyrrhenian Sea and students can learn more about the geomorphology and management of this dramatic coastline. Coastal drive past Positano and will drop you in Amalfi for free time. The coach cannot park there, so you will have to get a boat from Amalfi to the coach park and pay 3.50euros per person on the spot. Return to hotel by coach. Alternatively, you can take a coastal drive to Ravello (you pass by Positano and Amalfi en route) with the option to stop en route and visit Emerald Grotto.

Breakfast. Check out of accommodation. Depart hotel by coach for transfer to the airport. Return flights back to the UK. Arrange your own way home.
