Blue Lagoon

Enjoy a peaceful time at the Blue Lagoon, an incredible geothermal spa, set in the pure heart of the Icelandic landscape in a spectacular black lava field. This unique man-made lagoon is fed with water from the nearby geothermal power plant. It’s famed for its natural active ingredients; mineral salts, silica and blue green algae, with the high natural levels of silica and minerals give the Lagoon its rich blue colour.  This unique site has become a tourist honeypot and the most visited site in Iceland.  The facilities include modern changing rooms and showers, an indoor geothermal pool, a winter garden, restaurant and other services. After having enjoyed a dip in the Blue Lagoon, your coach will take you to Reykjavik or on to the airport for onward travel.

This is a self-led trip with free time to enjoy the facilities. We do not include a guide as standard on this tour . Towel hire is not included, but can be added in at a supplement.
