Snaefellsnes Peninsula (Approx 12hrs)
A unique area with a variety of geological interests such as lava fields, volcanoes, glacier, springs, yellow and black sand beaches and caves. However the main attraction of this tour is undoubtedly the Snaefellsjokull Glacier, a beautifully shaped strato volcano at the end of the peninsular. This area is the scene of Jules Verne’s novel ‘Journey to the Centre of the Earth’, in addition to being one of the wonders of the natural world.
