APD Tax Pricing Policy and Process

On all air tours, those aged 16+ have to pay APD tax on their flights (currently 16+ pay £13pp). He is how we adminster this.

Pre-Booking

• On quotes, we list the 16+ price with a note to say it's less if under 16.
• If ages are known at Booking Confirmation stage - it should be listed (e.g. X students are 15 and under / X students are 16 and over) with relevant pricing.
• If ages are not known at Booking Confirmation stage - all are assumed to be 16+ and the cost is the 16+ price per quote.

Post-Booking

• Post-booking - if anything is raised by a group related to refunds required, forward this straight to Finance who will deal with it and refund if relevant.
• Do not get involved in questions on monies for APD; leave this to finance to keep the process clear.

For the most part, groups never raise it and we know at ages at the booking stage.
