Tudor and Stuart London

Prices from: £82

Home to the Royal family and the capital city of England, London has seen some of the most important events in British history.

These events are brought to life by the rich array of world class museums and historical landmarks on offer that celebrate the city’s 2000 years of history. One area of British history that can be explored in London is the 16th and 17th century which saw the development of the monarchy and parliament, the Protestant Reformation, and the expansion of the British economy and state through overseas trade and colonialism. Students can explore this era by visiting Hampton Court, Shakespeare’s globe theatre and the National Portrait Gallery on a school trip to London.

Great trip - only issue was traffic (not your fault!!!) and the coach drivers dropped us off at the general entrance rather than the schools entrance a couple of times meaning we had to walk all around the building to the correct entrance.

This was a fantastic tour well balanced in terms of education and entertainment, great meals and plenty of opportunity to explore the city. The Royal National is ideally located, and the hotel responded to our request of rooming boys and girls on separate floors with their teachers.
