Visit the European organisation for Nuclear Research. Half day tours of the centre can be arranged, and can be themed to include any of the following topics: Accelerating Particles, Discovering Antimatter and Information Technology, Calculations and Communication. Your group can then add to their experience by visiting the Microcosm exhibition or the exhibiton in the Globe of Science and Innovation.

This full colour 24 page printed study pack will e given to every member of your group, and contains information about CERN, Higgs Boson, The Standard Model and more. There are also sections on Biology and Chemistry. Suitable for key stages 4 and 5.
History of Science Museum
The History of Science Museum is the only one of its kind in Switzerland. It is also an excellent display case for the city’s scientific past, which was particularly outstanding in the 18th century.

Housed inside the world's largest particle physics research centre - CERN, your students can now visit the Microcosm Exhibition.

Your students can learn all about Cosmic rays, fundamental forces, quarks and discover the mysteries of the Universe, of time, vacuum and antimatter, and learn about the impact of fundamental research on our everyday lives.
