What is this Wiki?

This Wiki is how to access and send/receive SMS via ClickSend.

Login to Clicksend here: https://dashboard.clicksend.com/login

Your login is your email + password (saved in the Vault).

Sending and receiving SMS via Email

Sending an SMS

  1. Open a new email in Outlook.
  2. In the To field, type the client's mobile number followed by @sms.clicksend.com
    1. Example: +447911123456@sms.clicksend.com
  3. Write your message in the subject line and/or body
  4. Press Send — the client receives it as an SMS

*Always use the international format for the number: + then country code then number, no spaces. UK example: +447911123456

Receiving a reply

  1. When the client replies to your SMS, it arrives in your email inbox automatically
  2. You can also view all replies in ClickSend under SMS → Messenger

Teacher outreach messages

Guidance for the sales team on what to send when following up on quotes with school teachers via SMS. All messages are manual and sent individually ,this is not for bulk campaigns.

Every message must include

  1. Your first name and Adaptable Travel as the company name
  2. A reference to the specific quote or trip you sent
  3. An offer to help or answer questions
  4. A clear next step - e.g. "Let me know if you'd like to discuss, here is my Calendly link to book a call"
  5. Your email address at the end

Tone

  • Although it is a SMS not an email. do be courteous, warm, and professional.
  • Do Keep it brief - SMS should be short and easy to read.
  • Don't Use pressure, urgency, or aggressive language.
  • Don't Use slang, jargon, or overly casual language.

Example message

'Hi [Teacher's name],I'm [Your name] from Adaptable Travel. I'm following up on the quote we sent for [trip/destination]. Please let me know if you have any questions or would like to talk it through. If easier via phone, you can book a call with me here [your Calendly Link].
