Vimy Ridge and Canadian Memorial
The Canadian Memorial on Hill 145, Vimy Ridge, overlooks the battlefield of 1917, where one of the fiercest battles of the First World War took place. The Canadian Memorial Park contains a striking monument, a cemetery, a small museum, tunnels and trenches. This is a highlight of any trip to the Somme.
