Royal Courts of Justice

Royal Courts of Justice

The Museum of Law Trust was first established in order to preserve Shire Hall in Nottingham, but after finding many buried treasures they decided to transform into a wonderful museum where everyone can get involved and experience the two Victorian court rooms in all their orignal spendour and learn more regarding their national significance.

The National Centre of Citizenship and Law now offers guided educational tours of the the Royal Courts at national heritage sites and workshops taking place in various courtrooms. Your students will also have the opportunity to handle items from the Her Masjesty's Prison Collection Service and explore the exhibition suite learning the function of the Supreme Court
