London Docklands & Museum

Visit the redevelopment around the old docklands site, a classic case study for urban regeneration. Students can visit St Katharine Dock, Wapping, and Canary Wharf, areas transformed from dereliction to an urban oasis of offices, public and private housing, hotels, shops and restaurants.

The London Docklands Museum tells the story of London’s river, port and people. It follows the development of the port from Roman times to the rise of Canary Wharf through interactive displays, recreated scenes and original artefacts.
