Hospital in the Rock - Nuclear Bunker Museum

Located beneath the Buda Castle, Hospital in the Rock is a unique monument that enables you to learn and experience similar environment and scenarios of The 1944-45 siege of Budapest, The 1956 Revolution, and The Cold War - Nuclear Menace which lasts 60 minutes. You can also take part in interactive guided tour, lasting for 1.5 hours, where tour guides dressed in contemporary clothing, participate in playful task, carrying people on stretchers, putting on bandages and gasmasks. During the tour, you will find yourself taking a journey in the emergency hospital from WWII, machinery rooms, and nuclear bunker. Also, witness where casualties were taken at the core of the huge rock that supports Buda Castle.
