The Chocolate Story in York is a great excursion to entertain and educate your students.
The Chocolate Story is an award-winning, Learning Outside the Classroom badge holder, and your students can explore the story of chocolate and the National Curriculum!
Not only can your students explore chocolate like never before, the museum hosts workshops that cover subjects related to history, science, and geography. The local history of York is a strong feature in the workshops, as is the practical science of chocolate creation. Our class also explores the story of chocolates’ discovery in the Americas and its eventual journey to England.
