Chateau d'Auvers

The Chateau d’Auvers is a beautiful castle only 30 minutes outside of central Paris. The castle which was built in the early 17th century is now famously home to some incredible impressionist paintings, which is sure to be enjoyed by any Art and Design students. There are also various artist workshops available for many different age ranges.The castle also holds a permanent exhibition, “travel to the time of impressionists” which will fascinate, excite and thrill creative minds. This interactive exhibit takes you in the footsteps of the great masters who have marked the history of the village of Auvers-sur-Oise, your students will be able to discover nearly 500 paintings from artists wonders such as Daubigny, Pissarro, Cézanne, Monet and Van Gogh.
