Vienna Art

Prices from: £259 (4 Days, 3 Nights)

The beautiful city of Vienna is home to not only some of Europe’s greatest artwork but it’s unique and stunning architecture, monuments and plethora of art galleries make it an artist’s playground for inspiration, design and influence. Vienna has had a long and familiar influence on fine and modern arts throughout history, making it worth the trip for that alone, however there is an increasing array of world-class contemporary art, architecture and design on offer, waiting to be discovered by keen art students who visit. The architecture in Vienna boasts a number of highly influential and well-known architectural styles from Baroque and Gothic styles to modern, sleek and contemporary styles which can be seen in newer additions to the old skyline.

Though different in style Vienna manages to seamlessly combine its historic and modern elements creating a unique and beautiful destination to explore.  Scattered around the city are the instantly recognisable and unique buildings such as the Museum of Modern Art and Hundertwasser Haus which are sure to inspire and captivate any students searching for some inspiration.

Vienna’s World class museums, artistic and creative significance, stunning scenery, unique skyline and architecture make it a must for art students or those studying design or creative subjects. However little or long a time spent in Vienna is sure to inspire and amaze your students and leave them with memories they can carry with them for a lifetime.

The accommodation was spacious and rooms had the basics. The really good thing was that the staff patrol the corridors after 10.30 so you don't have to worry about students at night.

The bus that picked us up at the airport was in a not so obvious place but that was fine once we found it.
