The aim of Project Iceland is to enhance the learning of all students in your class, including those who do not go on the trip.

The Student Workbook

Developed in conjunction with Geography teacher Simon Wells, in addition to our very own geography expert Julie Webb. The Project Iceland Student Workbook is an innovative curriculum-led 40-page full colour printed workbook that every member of your group will receive, (plus a few spare copies for your classroom). This fantastic geography resource covers all the main visits and offers information, activities, further research, maps and more. This resource will enhance the trip whilst provide an invaluable classroom resource for extended projects based around Iceland.

Teacher Resources

Teacher Handbook: This is a great accompaniment to the Student Workbook by giving answers to questions, guidance on Iceland trips, plus some great ideas for further activities both in Iceland and back in the classroom.

GCSE-focused Powerpoints: This will give clear learning objectives and outcomes and includes:

• Content from the student workbook, organised for teacher-led study so can be used in evening study sessions or back in school before/after the trip;
• Model answers and mark schemes to practice questions in addition to those in the Student Workbook;
• Teachers’ notes to accompany slides where required.
