Adaptable Travel has teamed up with the UK’s premier educational trail writer, E3 Trails, to offer these innovative, interactive fun products as a part of your tour itinerary. Covering a range of European and UK locations, a trail will enhance your students’ experience in a new and exciting way.
Mystery, intrigue and adventure themes are at the heart of the trail programme, underpinned by an on-going competition in a series of iconic locations. Your students will be entertained and engaged by the challenges they face, learning naturally as they solve clues and use each other’s skills and gifts to win the day for their team.
There is a choice of two themed Enrichment Trails currently available, the first on a ‘Sherlock’ theme and the second a Harry Potter-style adventure.
The Sherlock Adventure is a 3 hour trail which begins by the Sherlock Holmes Museum in Baker Street and moves into Regents Park to explore Queen Mary’s Gardens. It passes London Zoo before finishing in Primrose Hill, with stunning views of the London Skyline.
The Witches and Wizards Adventure is of a similar duration and distance, being some 2.9 km in total. Your trail begins at St Paul’s Cathedral before crossing the Thames on the Millennium Bridge to Queen’s Walk, taking you in front of Shakespeare’s Globe, The Clink, The Golden Hinde and Hays Galleria, with an eventual finish under Tower Bridge and opposite the Tower of London.
Trail times should be extended appropriately should you wish to visit any of the attractions en route. Adaptable Travel’s consultants will be happy to advise on costs and arrange admissions.
