Several Beauty therapy students from Hartlepool FE College recently enjoyed an educational trip to New York (January 2010). As part of their trip they visited the Dermalogica Institute to learn about skin care from the US based industry specialists.

Students had such a good study trip, that they decided to comment on their recent study trip to New York: “Me and the girls got together and thought we would give you some feed back about our amazing trip to New York City.. Visiting Dermalogica was a great experience for us all, as we use these products everyday. It was good to see how it all works and to meet the staff. We enjoyed everything that we did, but our favourite parts were visiting the Empire State Building, visiting Ground Zero and the memorial church, going to Times Square (we re-did a silly music video hahaha), going to Central Park, where we went on the ice rink and many more things. We all had good fun and staff were a right laugh. Before the trip some of us didn't know each other, but now were all good friends.

We would all love the opportunity to go to New York again next year, as we all had such an amazing time this year! We would also like to thank you Tracey and Lesley (group leaders) for organising the trip and helping us have a even better time.”
