Venice Biennale Study Trips

The 59th Biennale, International Art Exhibition runs from 23 April to 27 November 2022 and is curated by Cecilia Alemani, the first Italian women to ever hold this position.

The magnificent Venice Biennale offers your group the chance to experience one of the world’s most unique contemporary art experiences, held every two years. This excellent International Art Exhibition takes place across two main sites The Giardini is the traditional location of the event, set in a beautiful garden area, it is home to approximately 30 permanent pavilion structures built by participating countries in order to show off the best artwork each individual country has to offer.

The second location is The Arsenale; this recently renovated estate holds a high place in Venetian history as it was once the centre of Venice's naval power. Now however it provides a gorgeous backdrop for the Bienalle and is becoming more and more important to the event. It hosts a wide variety of different exhibitions including live performances and unique art presentations.
