New York is the home of theatre and has 40 venues located on and off Broadway. Watch, feel and live the performances of the world’s most famous Broadway shows such as; Cats, The Phantom of the Opera, Wicked, The Lion King and many more.

Your students will be able to join in with the Broadway life as there are many workshops available in dancing, singing and acting! The City is also known for being a major filming location; your students will be able to visit the movie sets of their favourite shows and films, be given tours from local guides.  This is the number one experience which will stay with your students for a life time.

Add to this a performing arts workshop, some magical city sights from Central Park to the Statue of Liberty and this will be a school trip that will inspire students for years to come.

DAY 1

  • Fly from the UK to New York.  Arrive at airport and transfer to the hotel.  After checking in, you will likely have some free time to explore Manhattan.
  • Adaptable Travel can organise an array of evening meals and activities for your group.

 

DAY 2 

  • AM: After a much needed rest, visit the Lincoln Center for Performing Arts.
  • PM: Following lunch, enjoy an inspirational Broadway workshop.
  • Following this head to the Empire State Building or the Rockefeller Center for incredible views over Manhattan and to watch the night draw in.

 

DAY 3 

  • AM: Visit the New York Film Academy for a workshop to discover more about film or alternatively embark on a NBC Studio tour for real life experience of a TV studio.
  • For lunch, visit Central Park and explore this increidble green space in the centre of NYC.
  • PM: Enjoy a group evening meal, followed by the fantastic experience of seeing a Broadway Workshop with your group.

 

DAY 4

  • AM: Today take the ferry and visit the Ellis Island and Statue of Liberty, an icon of the city and a must-do photo opportunity.
  • PM: After lunch, you may have some free time before your return transfer to airport
  • Return Flight to UK

 

DAY 5

  • Arrive UK early morning
