Amsterdam Religious Studies

Prices from: £129 (based on 3 days)

Amsterdam is a great place to visit on a study trip for students looking into Religious Studies. The famous story of Anne Frank symbolised Jeiwsh persecution during World War 2.

In addition, other nearby visits including Westerboork Concentration Camp and the Jewish Historical Museum offer a great base for your next Religious Studies study trip. Filled with small cobbled streets, charming architecture, beautiful canals and home to many world class museums such as the Anne Frank’s House.

Amsterdam is the perfect setting for a study trip packed full with educational content for Religious Studies.  Through a series of well-preserved historical sites and excellent museums, students will be able to explore all aspects of Jewish life and culture prior to World War II, as well as experiencing the effects of German occupation and Jewish persecution on Amsterdam's citizens in considerable detail.

Amsterdam was an ideal destination. We mostly travelled on foot and were amazed by the kindness and helpfulness of the Dutch people we met. The pupils were very impressed by the bicycles and canals! The art galleries were superb. Our hostel was comfortable and the food was delicious and healthy. All together the trip was a huge success and I would rate it above Florence, Paris or Amsterdam as an art, culture and fun destination for teenagers.
