Theatre Workshops
Depending on the level of your students, workshops can range from physical theatre and specialist dance, to a physical theatre master-class for experienced drama and dance students. The workshops teach your students techniques used in shows to develop an acute awareness of their physicality in the creation of a physical character.

Many groups choose to combine a show, followed by a workshop of that particular show the following day as part of their London theatre trip.
Dance Workshops
In addition to theatre workshops, Adaptable Travel can arrange specialist dance workshops with eminent dance organisations including the Pineapple Dance Studio.

These workshops are not just for dance groups, but aim to break down the elitist barriers surrounding dance, and make it available to everyone from beginners to the advanced and professional dancer. With over 200 classes per week and 40 different styles to choose from, even the most creative of dancer will revel in this experience.
RADA Workshops and Tours
Adaptable Travel, working in conjunction with The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, or RADA as they are more well known, can now offer performing arts workshops, tailored productions and tours of the famous facilities, allowing your students to become inspired by following in the same footsteps of the famous alumni such as Gemma Arteton, Joan Collins and Sir Anthony Hopkins. In addition, the RADA facilities can be hired for a rehearsal.
Royal Opera House Tour - Covent Garden
Your group can take a guided backstage and front of house tour of one of the worlds leading theatres, the captivating Royal Opera House. Not only does this experience offer a unique glimpse behind the scenes of one of the busiest international opera and ballet theatres in the world, but it also includes a brief history into the theatres colourful history, an insight into the re-development of the Royal Opera House and a look at aspects of current productions.
National Theatre Tour
Your students can explore the backstage life of the National Theatre with the theatres knowleadgable and entertaining tour guides.

Your group will be guided backstage through three of the theatres, walking the same footsteps of the greatest actors and directors of the past 35 years. As a working theatre, rehersals, set building, prop and costume design all take place on site, your group can take in the day to day backstage working life of a famous theatre.
Charles Dickens Museum
This fantastic museum re-opened in December 2012 after a £3.1m renovaion.

Comprising taught workshops, film screenings, special events and self-guided tours is what awaits your students at the Charles Dickens Museum in London.
Students can allow their creativity to run riot in the house of one of the greatest writers of all time. In conjunction with the brand new 'Great Expectations,' project. an exciting new programme of educational activity will launch with the Museum’s re-opening this December.
