The magnificent Venice Biennale offers your group the chance to experience one of the world’s most unique contemporary art experiences, held every two years. The next Venice Art Biennale takes place from June – November 2013.
This excellent International Art Exhibition takes place across two main sites The Giardini is the traditional location of the event, set in a beautiful garden area, it is home to around 30 permanent pavilion structures built by participating countries in order to show off the best artwork each individual country has to offer. The second location is The Arsenale. This recently renovated estate holds a high place in Venetian history as it was once the centre of Venice's naval power. Now however it provides a gorgeous backdrop for the Bienalle and is becoming more and more important to the event. It hosts a wide variety of different exhibitions including live performances and unique art presentations.
Adaptable Travel has been arranging study trips to the Venice Biennale for many years, giving students, and adults alike, the chance to experience one of the biggest and most diverse art events in the world that covers a wide range of subjects including Cinema, Dance, Theatre, Architecture and Art, making it the perfect destination for your next educational study trip.
Running since 1895, the Venice Biennale is often described as the ‘Olympics of Art’, the Venice Biennale combines Art, Cinema, Dance and Music in 2013, with the Art Biennale taking place June – November 2013.
