Opening in Februry 2006, The Cartoon Museum is run by The Cartoon Art Trust and has a constantly changing exhibition of cartoons, caricatures, comics and animation from the 18th century to the present day.

Creative East End Walking Tour
Take a guided walking tour of one of Europe’s most creative hubs, London's East End.
Students can discover neighborhood's most intriguing shops, galleries and gems. Through this diverse walking tour students will get to meet up-and-coming fashion designers, artists and designer-makers and their work.
The tour includes a commentary from an expert guide (lasting approx 2.5 hours, max 10 students per guide).
Situated next to the London Eye is Dali Universe, a 30,000sq feet exhibition dedicated to the remarkable Spanish artist Salvador Dali (1904 - 1989).
The museum contains over 500 objects of his work never before displayed in the UK including his sculptures, graphics, jewellery and water-colours.
Founded in 1989 and one of the first museums of modern design, the mission of the Design Museum is to promote the importance of design in our daily lives.
The collections include product, industrial, graphic, fashion and architectural design and shows the history of modern design and how the current designs and technologies influence the future.
Originally built in 1885, Guildhall Art Gallery consists of around 4,000 pieces of work, 250 of which are on show at a time, with a programme of temporary exhibitions exploring different themes.
Many of the paintings are of London themes and the museum houses art collections from the City of London Corporation.
Museum of Domestic Design & Architecture
Part of Middlesex Univerity, The Museum of Domestic Design and Architecture, or MODA as it's more well known, houses one of the world's most comprehensive collections of nineteenth and twentieth century decorative arts for the home.
The museums collection includes wallpapers, textiles, designs, books, catalogues and magazines from the late nineteenth to the early twentieth century.
National Portrait Gallery
Your students can explore over 175,000 portraites from the 16th Century to the present day. The gallery was founded in 1856 to collect portraites of famous British men and women.
The gallery holds portraits through the times of famous Tudors, Geogians, Victorians, 20th Century and Contemporary portraits.
The National Gallery houses one of the greatest collections of European painting in the world, dating from the 13th to the 19th Century. Some of the work includes Van Gogh’s ‘Sunflowers’, and works by Rembrandt and Leonardo.
The first paintings in the National Gallery collection came from the banker and collector John Julius Angerstein in 1824 and the House of Commons agreed to pay £57,000 for his collection of 38 pictures.

The Duke of York's HQ, Sloane Square, offers an ideal environment to view contemporary art, with very large well-proportioned rooms and high ceilings. The Gallery occupies the entire 70,000 sq ft building giving the gallery scope for a book shop, educational facilities and a café/bar.
Tate Modern is Britain's new collection of modern art. The museum contains works form 1500 to present day and international and contemporary art. Works include Dali, Picasso, Matisse, Rothko, Warhol and more contemporary artists.
