![]() Europe’s only 'Thomas Land' attraction is educating children by helping them to develop their communication and language, creative development and reasoning by the use of story-telling and games.
Thomas Land, which is located at the award-winning tourist attraction, Drayton Manor Theme Park in Staffordshire, has created a new series of specially themed education days. Working in accordance with the National Curriculum, the Thomas Land day is turned into an adventure that can be designed to fit into any aspect of their learning. Children will work as teams, using their imagination to solve problems and complete hands on activities, as well as enjoying some of the rides. Children can also spend time in Spencer’s Outdoor Play Area to help expand their physical development. The park’s education officer, Kiri Charlton, said, “The Thomas education days are great for the children as they can take learning outside of the classroom into a unique environment. “The specially created education days, aimed at four to seven years olds, are a great way for schools to offer their pupils not just a day out, but a valuable learning opportunity,” she added. Prices for the Thomas Education days are £7.50 per pupil and the venue can accommodate up to 60 pupils at any one time. Contact us today to start organising your next school trips to London. ![]() |
