New app launches to help visitors enjoy Disneyland Paris

Disneyland Paris has become the first Disney theme park to launch an iPhone application to assist visitors in getting the most out of their holiday.

The app - which is available to download free of charge onto all iPhone models – offers tourists details on opening times for every ride and attraction within the park, alongside information about parades and shows.

The app also offers advice on the eateries and bars contained within Disneyland Paris, as well as tips on picking up the best admission rates to the park, and how to land any special offers.

Visitors to the Disney park can even use the app to plan their perfect itinerary based on their group size and the sort of holiday they are looking for. They can also check out the expected waiting times for each of the rides.

Operations optimisation director at Disneyland Paris, Nicolas Gougenheim, said, “Following on from dynamic information panels, Bluetooth and Flashcode, the Disneyland Paris iPhone application fits perfectly into our innovation-focused culture, which aims at providing our guests with the very latest in information-on-demand technology, so as to ensure they enjoy optimal quality of service.”

Disneyland Paris is one of the top tourist destinations in Europe and has attracted more than 215 million visitors since it first opened its gates in 1992.
