Field Trip Wild for School
18/02/2010
A recent school trip to Dudley Zoological Gardens was a wild experience for pupils of a Tipton School.

12 Models made by school pupils from Tipton RSA Academy were thrown to the lions and torn apart to the delight of the school pupils. This school trip was part of a series of new workshops carried out by Dudley Zoological Gardens with the aim of encouraging the animals to hunt for themselves.

The twelve models included Zebras and Giraffes and were made of boxes and stuffed with food, before being thrown to the lions! The pupils also learnt about animal welfare and behaviour on this wild school trip.
